In today’s highly competitive environment, consumer product companies must do more than just get their products into major retail channels – they must also reinforce their brands by maintaining direct relationships with their customers. Major consumer brands are seeking solutions that enable them to more actively engage with their customers online. Using product-specific rich media content they aim to directly influence online customer purchasing behaviors and increase product sales.
ironSAGE is interested in new technologies that enable consumer brands to deliver digital online content in sophisticated ways, including: tailoring customer engagement strategies based on product features and benefits, and reinforcing brand messaging around a unified marketing campaign. Solutions presented must provide brands with the ability to effectively connect with customers – even when their products are being sold through channel partners – including major retail ecommerce sites that typically control what and how content is presented. Approaches could include dynamically embedded product widgets that make it easy for brands to deliver rich-media, live HTML5, product marketing content, and social media into retail channel online environments.
Special consideration will be given to solutions that support real-time content updates across all networks, manage SKU level digital content, use a standardized and easy to deploy digital asset management system, deliver insightful engagement metrics, and that influence shopper purchasing behavior and activation at the product level.
