Focus Area: Health Information Management and Decision Support
Registration Deadline: NA
Today’s value-based healthcare environment places a high demand on the ability of health care organizations to effectively monitor, measure and manage virtually every aspect of care. The Health Data Intelligence (“HDI”) Working Group will guide hospital and health system partners through the implementation of a health data analytics and reporting solution that enables improvements in care quality, patient outcomes and enterprise profitability.
The working group will collaborate with select healthcare organizations to demonstrate a data access and analytics solution that supports improved decision-making, optimizes care delivery processes, and maximizes financial and operational performance. As part of our efforts, we will: (a) enable reporting of patient attribution, budgeting, benchmarking and performance management; (b) provide analytics and visualizations based on quality measures, utilization and cost data that provide insights on the most effective combinations of incentives and other inputs; (c) document patient health status, treatment and evidence-based care to maximize incentives through shared savings and improved quality; (d) support systems that enable detailed, patient-specific collection of cost data and a precise understanding of costs, revenues and margins in capitated payment models; and (e) deploy analytic solutions to develop a strategic business model across an integrated accountable continuum of care organization.

Participants can expect to gain insight into population risk adjustment and metrics for identifying potentially preventable events that improve clinical quality and link to payments across episodes. Solutions will be evaluated based on their ability to improve healthcare service, quality, safety, efficacy and cost.
Working group participants consistently rate senior-level interactions and purpose-driven discussions as one of the top reasons for participation. Therefore, all briefing registrants must be senior level management executives (i.e., CIOs, CTOs, COOs, CSOs, CISOs, CMIOs, SVPs, VPs, Directors, etc.) or their equivalent. Innovation Working Groups (IWGs) are invitation-only working groups that generally consist of 3-5 enterprise participants. As “member-driven” collaborations, IWGs support a confidential and collaborative environment for connecting innovative solution providers with major enterprises interested in exploring, validating and acquiring high-value solutions. ironSAGE expert facilitators guide participants in establishing requirements for enterprise pilots and the full-scale adoption of solutions aimed at solving defined technical, business, market or industry challenges.
