Integrated health systems, hospitals, insurance providers, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) are striving to better define and measure the quality of health care. A major component of quality of health care is patient satisfaction.
ironSAGE is actively evaluating patient quality management systems (PQMS) that can effectively leverage patient satisfaction insights to help identify care delivery gaps, operational inefficiencies, and performance improvement opportunities. The PQMS should enable health care organizations, physician groups and insurers to effectively record, manage, track and resolve patient complaints. Solution capabilities could include monitoring real-time trends through integrated tracking and reporting of adverse events, a centralized complaint intake process, efficient manage of site level investigations, and the electronic processing of corrective and preventive actions.
Special considerations given to enterprise-level solutions with the ability to support evidence-based adjustments that effectively minimize preventable risk events, enhance clinical workflows, and improve the quality of care delivery.
