Focus Area: Health Supply Chain Management
Registration Deadline: NA
The Supply Chain Management (“SCM”) Working Group is aimed at guiding MSSP and commercial ACOs, payors, and other healthcare organizations through a collaborative process of defining integrated SCM system requirements, workflows, reporting and performance management.
The SCM working group will collaborate with select healthcare organizations to pilot or otherwise demonstrate a SCM solution that effectively measures device impact on patient outcomes. As part of our efforts, we will (a) actively track product inventory and optimize procurement procedures; (b) define a flexible system capable of interacting with a wide range of existing clinical, claims, payor and financial systems; (c) deploy a pilot system that provides management with an institution or system-wide supply chain management solution; (d) support advanced data analytics and reporting capabilities to identify effective opportunities for improving health outcomes through the implementation of evidence-based adjustments that maximize earned vendor incentives, reduce post procedure length of stay, and improve the quality of care delivered; (e) provide comparative patient health outcome performance data by device that supports payor efforts to justify a “tiered” reimbursement structured approach that incentivizes the use of those devices associated with the best outcomes; and (f) validate the potential for forward-looking predictive analytics based on patient health outcomes.

Innovation Working Groups (IWGs) are invitation-only working groups that generally consist of 3-5 enterprise participants. As “member-driven” collaborations, IWGs support a confidential and collaborative environment for connecting innovative solution providers with major enterprises interested in exploring, validating and acquiring high-value solutions. ironSAGE expert facilitators guide participants in establishing requirements for enterprise pilots and the full-scale adoption of solutions aimed at solving defined technical, business, market or industry challenges.
